06 - 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
→ Assembly
07 - 12 to 14 ladyfinger biscuits, cut to fit mini glasses
08 - Unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting
09 - Dark chocolate shavings (optional)
# How-To Steps:
01 - Whisk together mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until smooth.
02 - Whip heavy cream in a separate bowl until medium peaks form.
03 - Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.
04 - In a shallow dish, combine cooled espresso and optional coffee liqueur.
05 - Quickly dip each ladyfinger piece into the coffee mixture, avoiding soaking.
06 - Place a dipped ladyfinger at the bottom of each mini glass.
07 - Spoon or pipe a layer of mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
08 - Add another dipped ladyfinger and top with more mascarpone cream.
09 - Smooth the tops and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
10 - Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings before serving.
